Overview

TCP Bot Lab operates a small collection of personal automation tools. This policy explains how the TikTok Recipe Email Bot handles information when an approved user submits a recipe-video link, reviews a recipe in Telegram, or authorizes an approved recipe to be sent through Gmail.

Information processed

The tool may process:

  • The sender address, subject, and message content of emails sent to the designated bot mailbox.
  • Submitted TikTok URLs and information made available with the linked video, including captions, descriptions, audio, and visible content.
  • Structured recipe information created from that source, including ingredients, amounts, directions, notes, and the source URL.
  • Telegram chat and callback identifiers required to display a preview and receive an email, edit, or cancel decision.
  • Basic operational logs needed to diagnose failures, prevent duplicate processing, and maintain the service.

Google user data

The tool requests the Gmail send permission solely to send a recipe email after the user selects the email approval action. The Google OAuth connection is not used to read, search, delete, organize, or modify Gmail messages. Access tokens are stored on the private server and are not placed in the public website or source repository.

TCP Bot Lab’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

How information is used

Information is used only to:

  • Confirm that a message came from an approved sender.
  • Retrieve and analyze a submitted recipe-video source.
  • Create and display a structured recipe preview.
  • Carry out the user’s email, edit, or cancel decision.
  • Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the personal tool.

Information is not sold, rented, used for advertising, or used to build advertising profiles.

Service providers and disclosures

Content needed to perform the requested workflow may be processed by service providers that support video retrieval, artificial intelligence analysis, Telegram messaging, Gmail delivery, cloud storage, and server hosting. These providers receive only the information needed for their part of the workflow and operate under their own terms and privacy policies.

Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect the security of the service, or with the user’s direction or consent.

Retention and deletion

A pending recipe is retained while it awaits an email, edit, or cancel decision. The pending approval record is removed after a confirmed email send or cancellation. Generated files, sent emails, authorized-sender records, backups, and operational logs may remain for personal recordkeeping, security, or troubleshooting until they are rotated or manually deleted.

An authorized user may request deletion of their submitted content or disconnect Google access at any time. Google access can also be revoked from the Google Account security settings.

Security

Reasonable technical and administrative safeguards are used, including restricted server access, limited sender lists, protected credential files, and encrypted network connections. No system can guarantee absolute security.

Children’s privacy

The tool is not directed to children under 13 and is not intended to collect personal information from children.

Policy changes

This policy may be updated as the tools change. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when material changes are made.
